Cut off one aloe leaf.

Cut the leaf in half.

Separate the the outer leaf from the clear jelly inside.

Grab a spoon and scoop out the inner jelly.

Aloe vera jelly

Aloe vera contains a plethora of antioxidants like beta carotene, vitamins C and E that improve the natural firmness of skin. It also keeps the skin hydrated, increasing it's elasticity.

Extra virgin olive oil contains antioxidants, as well as Vitamins A and E. It also repairs skin damage from sun exposure, cigarette smoke and pollutants.

One cup filtered water. We want to start with the purest water possible.

Combine the aloe vera jelly, water, and olive oil in a blender.

Strain the mixture using a sieve.

The finished product.

Grab a clean bottle. I'm using an old agave nectar bottle. I like the cap because it's easier to squirt the cleanser onto a cotton pad.

Pour in the mixture. After it settles, the oil will rise to the top.

Simply shake to mix and it's ready to use!

Apply a small amount on a cotton pad.

Remove makeup by simply wiping across the area. Water proof mascara will take a few swipes.

Leaves your skin clean and moisturized.

When I travel, I soak a few soft paper towels in the mixture and throw it in a ziplock bag. One sheet will be enough for your whole face.
